What is MiPAY Prepaid Mastercard ?

The MiPAY Prepaid Mastercard is a Mastercard-branded prepaid card that can optionally be linked to a Mobile Wallet (MiPAY Mobile Wallet). It can be used to make payments at any Mastercard physical or online merchant worldwide. It can also be used to withdraw cash from any Mastercard ATM worldwide.

What is my application criteria as a Malaysian ?

If you are Malaysian you need:
 • 18 years old & above
 • Copy of MyKad
 • An active phone number to receive SMS
 • Valid residential address in Malaysia

What is my application criteria as a foreigner ?

What is the minimum card balance ?

The prepaid card enforces a minimum balance of RM 10 in your card. Transactions which result in a balance below this amount will be declined.

How can I apply for the MiPAY Prepaid Mastercard ?

You can apply for the MiPAY Prepaid Mastercard via the MiPAY Mobile Wallet. You may also apply for the card at MobilityOne’s outlet.

How long is the card valid for ?

What should I do when my Passport is expired ?

When user's passport/ID is expired, user can no longer use the premium mobile app features since the CDD status is downgraded. To solve that, user need to upgrade their account to premium account by completing the e-KYC again.

1. At profile page, click 'Upgrade Account to Premium'.

2. Then, click 'Upgrade Now' button to proceed to do e-KYC.

3. The ID type already auto selected based on registration, MyKAD or Passport. User need to take photo of MyKAD or Passport ID document, and click 'Next'.

4. MyKAD ID document will capture the front ID and back ID, while Passport ID document capture the front document only.

5. After done capture, it shows the user info screen capture from ID document. Click 'Submit'.

6. The page of Record Video shown for the security. User has to follow the instructions given and it will live capture the actions. Click button to 'Record Video'.

7. Page record video shown. Keep your face within oval or click 'Start Recording' button.

8. After done, click 'Submit Video' to proceed for next page. Click 'Finish' when verification is done.

9. Next, fill the form for all the information, and click 'Next'.

10. Fill the additional information details and click 'Submit'.

11. Success message will be shown and click 'Ok'. (Note that if user's mailing address not same with residential address, please can untick box and fill the information).
